If you have not been
this far north before, do not miss
the chance to make the trip to Cape Reinga. We thoroughly
recommend the Paradise Connexion personalized jeep tour with pick-up
and drop-off at the motel. (Most rental car companies prohibit driving
on Ninety Mile Beach.) DuneRider has a pick-up point for their tours in
Mangonui Village. Harrison's CapeRunner operates a coach tour out of
Kaitaia and is excellent value for money. It is a very enjoyable
day out for all the family. Bookings can be made when you make a
reservation at Mill Bay Suites Motel or at any time during your stay.
